At the White House, the US President met the President of Ukraine and heads of state from seven European countries. Russia-Ukraine did not agree on the ceasefire, but there was a significant discussion on Ukraine’s security guarantee. The US and Europe agreed to protect Ukraine on the lines of NATO’s article five, which means that after the peace agreement it would be considered an attack on the entire NATO countries on the Russian attack.
