China has spoken well about Iran-Israel in the United Nations Security Council. China made a clear allegations against Israel at the UNSC’s emergency meeting. Fu Kong, a permanent representative of China at the United Nations, said that Israeli’s action violates the norms of international law and international relations, endangering Iran’s sovereignty and security and weakens regional peace and stability. Fu Kong said that China clearly condemns it.
Fu Kong underlined the threat of this war and warned that if the struggle increases further, not only will both sides suffer more, but the regional countries will also be severely affected. However, China did not say which regional forces of West Asia can affect this war.
Fu Kong, a permanent representative of China to the United Nations, said the Israeli-Iran military conflict has entered its eighth day and it is sad to see that the struggle has resulted in a large number of citizens casualties and the facilities of both sides have been damaged.
Let us know that 640 people of Iran have been killed in this attack so far, while the death toll from Israel is 40.
China has been demanding ceasefire since the beginning of this war. Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Lynn Gian said on 13 June that China is “extremely concerned” with Israeli attacks and opposes Iran’s sovereignty violations. Foreign Minister Wang Yi described Israeli attacks as “unacceptable” and violation of international law, as well as offering a creative role for peace.
President Xi Jinping said in Kazakhstan on June 17 that regional instability is a threat to global peace and all sides should work for the ceasefire. He, along with Russia, called the war “violation of the UN Charter”.
China accused the US of “pouring ghee” and asked influential countries to take responsibility for peace. However, experts believe that China’s role is limited at the moment and is avoiding military support and its statement is limited to diplomatic rhetoric only.
Fu Kong, while emphasizing the need for an immediate ceasefire, said that at this critical point, the international community should build consensus and make every effort to promote interaction to reduce stress.
Fu Kong said, “Use of force to resolve international disputes is not the right way. This will only increase hatred and conflict. The sooner the ceasefire will apply, the less loss will be. He said that the situation in the area cannot be allowed to be taken to the abyss.
“The sides involved in the conflict, especially Israel, should take a ceasefire as soon as possible to prevent the situation from being out of control and avoid any spread of fighting and ensure the safety of citizens.”
Chinese state said that the red line should not be crossed at any time for civil security in armed conflict and indiscriminate use of strength is unacceptable. He said that the parties involved in the struggle should strictly follow international law, avoid damage to innocent citizens, avoid attacking civil facilities and help in removing citizens of the third country.
According to Fu Kong, the current conflict has disrupted the process of negotiation on the Iranian nuclear issue. Fu said that many Iranian nuclear site attacks a dangerous example and it can have frightening consequences. “We should not waver in the normal direction of the political solution of the Iranian nuclear issue and we should be firm in bringing the Iranian nuclear issue back on the path of political solution through dialogue and dialogue.”
The diplomat of China pointed to forces such as the US and Britain, saying that the major countries with special impact on the international community, especially the parties involved in the struggle, should try to calm the situation, not to the contrary.
