US President Donald Trump once again targeted the BRICS countries on Friday and warned that it would end very quickly if the group was ever organized in a real and effective way. He also said that he is committed to maintaining a global dominance of US dollar and will never allow ‘Central Bank Digital Currency’ (CBDC) in the US.
In a video released by the White House, Trump said, when I first heard about this group called BRICS- there are six countries in it … I took a strict action against them. If this group comes in a strong way at any time, then it will end very soon.
He also claimed that efforts to challenge the dollars of BRICS countries were failing. He said, there is a small group called BRICS, which is now rapidly weakening. He tried to end the dollar strength and its global role, but I made it clear that whatever countries are in the BRICS group, 10 percent tariffs will be imposed on them. After this, they had a meeting the next day and hardly anyone joined it.
‘Sinch dollar status like losing world war’
The US President said that snatching the status of dollars would be like losing a world war. We will not let the dollar fall. If the dollar lost its global reserve currency status, then it would be as if we have lost the World War.
During this, he also mentioned his ‘The Genius Act’ and said that it is promoting the strength of the US dollar.
