In a conversation with the media after the NATO Summit held in the Hague, Trump said, “I don’t want to give an example of Hiroshima, I do not want to give an example of Nagasaki, but our attacks on Iran were the same.” He said that after one such decisive attack, this war ended and now both countries have declared peace.

American attack on three Iran’s nuclear bases
Donald Trump reported that the US targeted the three major nuclear bases in Iran’s Natanj, Isfahan and Fordo. He claimed that Iran’s nuclear program has been completely stalled in these attacks and these locations have suffered serious damage. Trump said that only after the US attack, Iran was forced to retreat and a situation of ceasefire was formed. However, after this attack, Iran also reacted strongly.

Iran’s retaliation- missiles fired at American locations
In response to the US attack, Iran carried out missile attacks on American military bases in Qatar and Iraq. According to reports, Iran fired at least 10 missiles in Qatar, while several places were attacked in Iraq. However, Trump claimed that the US did not suffer any damage in these attacks. He said that Iran suffered a major loss in this war that lasted for 12 days and about 800 of its citizens were killed, while 24 to 30 citizens of Israel were also killed.

Israel-Iran war ended in 12 days
Donald Trump said that the war lasted for 12 days and the ceasefire was formally announced on 24 June 2025. He also said that there is no possibility of again attacks between Iran and Israel. During the war, Israel targeted Iran’s military and nuclear bases, while Iran fired missiles on Israeli cities such as Tel Aviv and Haifa. Both countries decided to end the war due to American mediation. However, after Trump’s statement, the role of America in West Asia and the morality of this war has also erupted.
