Us illegal Indian departation: After the introduction of the collective exile by Donald Trump in the US, India has identified 388 illegal Indian migrants, who have now returned to their country. According to the Times of India report, some of these illegal migrants reached Amritsar in India directly from America, while some have returned to Panama with the help of International Migration Organization (IOM).

The biggest challenge for India is that it cannot know how many Indians are living illegally in America. The reason behind this is that these immigrants had legally out of India, but they either stayed there for more than the period of their American visa and violated the law or entered America in illegal ways.

The biggest concern for the Government of India is to stop those agents and organizations that promote illegal stay. S Jaishankar said in Parliament that law enforcement agencies will take strict action against agents providing illegal stay based on information received from the exile. These agents often work to send migrants to America by fake documents or illegal routes, cheating migrants and endangered their future.

Illegal migration problem

Although various estimates have been made about the number of Indians living illegally in the US, which can be from 200,000 to 700,000, but the Government of India has no accurate data. The reason behind this is that most of the immigrants went out of India in legitimate ways, but later started living illegally in America. The Indian government is taking the problem of illegal migration seriously and is focusing on international cooperation and strict policies to stop it. Strict action is being taken against those who provide illegal stay based on the information of the exile and their experiences.
