Donald Trump Says Did Not Want PM Modi and Other Global Leaders See Graffiti and Tents in Washington

US President Donald Trump has said that he did not want India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other global leaders who came to meet him should be seen on tents and walls near federal buildings in Washington. Donald Trump has ordered the cleanliness of the US capital.

Donald Trump said in his statement in the Ministry of Justice on Friday (14 March 2025), ‘We are cleaning our city. We are cleaning this capital and we will not allow crime, we will not stand in favor of crime, we are going to remove frescoes, we have already started removing tents and we are working closely with the administration.

He said that till now Washington Mayor Murial Bosar has done a good job towards cleaning the capital. Trump said, ‘There are many tents in front of the Ministry of External Affairs. They have to be removed. We want a capital that can become a topic of discussion around the world.

He said, ‘When Prime Minister of India Modi, French President all these people … The Prime Minister of Britain came to meet me in all the last one and a half weeks and when he came … I changed the route. I did not want them to see tents. I did not want them to see frescoes. I did not want them to see broken barriers and pits on the streets. We made it beautiful.
