Amid Tariff War, US President Donald Trump spoke to Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on a telephone on Wednesday. He shared a post on the Truth social platform with his conversation with Trudeau. Trump accused the Canadian Prime Minister of not allowing elections in his country to remain in power.
US President Donald Trump wrote in his post on Truth Social, ‘Justin Trudeau of Canada called me to ask what could be done about the tariff. I told them that many people have been killed by Fantanil (Fentanyl are a kind of drugs) coming through the boundaries of Canada and Mexico, and nothing has assured me that it has stopped. He (Trudeau) said that it has become better, but I said, it is not enough. The call ended in a friendly manner to some extent.

Trump further wrote in his post, ‘He was unable to tell me when elections were being held in Canada, which made me curious what was happening there? Then I realized that he is trying to use this issue (tariff war with America) to stay in power. Best wishes Justin! ‘ Trump told Canadian PM Trudeau that due to his government’s weak border policy, huge amounts of Fentanil and illegal immigrants are coming to the United States.
Trump again called PM Trudeau Governor
The US President wrote in another post on Truth Social, ‘I also told Canadian Governor Justin Trudeau that he has created problems with us on a large scale due to his weak boundary policies, which has allowed huge amounts of Fantanil and illegal aliens (illegal non -resident) to enter the United States. These policies are responsible for the death of many people. Let me tell you that Trump had proposed to Trudeau a day ago to make Canada the 51st state of America, which was rejected by the Canadian PM. After this, Trump addresses the Canadian Prime Minister as Governor Trudeau.

Tariff war broke out due to Trump’s decision
US President Donald Trump has imposed a 25 percent tariff on the imports of Mexico and Canada, which came into effect from March 4. Trump doubled the tariff from 10 percent to 20 percent on all sugar imports. White House Press Secretary Caroline Lewitt confirmed this on Wednesday. However, Trump has given a discount on auto tariffs on Mexico and Canada for a month. In response, Canada has also imposed a 25 percent counter -tariff on American products. At the same time, China has retaliated and decided to impose 10 to 15 percent additional tariffs on American goods and also banned 25 American companies. Mexico has also warned the US to impose counter -tariffs.
