New Delhi: New Delhi Tigers performed all -round game and defeated North Delhi Strikers by eight wickets in the Delhi Premier League (DPL).

Batting first, the strikers had to struggle from the beginning and within 12 overs, their score was 54 runs for six wickets. Vaibhav Kandpal (45) and Arjun Rapriya (29) shared a 58 -run partnership for the seventh wicket, but despite this, his team could score 124 runs for nine wickets.

For the tigers, Yashjeet took four wickets for 15 runs in four overs. Pankaj Jaswal and Pradyuman Sanan gave them good support with two wickets.

Chasing the small target, the tigers started poorly and Shivam Gupta was dismissed by captain Harshit Rana on the very first ball of the innings. Captain Himmat Singh (45) and Lakshya Thareja shared a 78 -run partnership for the second wicket.
