After receiving the complaint, the police registered a report and arrested Meerut resident Vishal Kumar and his friend from Modinagar Road in Hapud. After investigation in this case, both the accused have been sent to jail.

The police have arrested Vishal Kumar and his friend Satish Kumar of Meerut on this charge. Mukesh Singhal had taken insurance of about Rs 39 crore from many insurance companies. The case was registered on the complaint of Sanjay Kumar, representative of the insurance company Niva Bupa.
Investigation has also revealed that Vishal has received lakhs of rupees in the form of insurance claim after the death of his mother and wife earlier. According to the police, in 2017, Vishal’s mother also died in a road accident, after which she received insurance of Rs 80 lakh. Apart from this, he got 30 lakh rupees even after the death of his wife.
Hapur’s CO City Varun Mishra said that Vishal and Satish together carried out the incident in a planned manner. Police suspect that this is part of a major criminal conspiracy. At present, the police is investigating the matter intensively.
Insurance company told this
Sanjay Kumar of the insurance company said that the deceased Mukesh Singhal was ‘Niva Bupa’ as well as Tata AIG, Max Life, Tata AIA, HDFC Argo, Max Life and insurance policy holders of many companies. Their declared annual income was 12 to 15 lakh rupees while his total insurance claim is about 39 crores. In the policy, his nominated son Vishal Kumar claimed the insurance company.
It was told that on 27 March 2024, when Mukesh Singhal was returning from Garh Ganga, he was admitted to the hospital after a road accident, but according to the medical record of Navjeevan Hospital in Meerut, the accident occurred at night. His death was later shown at Anand Hospital in Meerut. The injuries of the road accident by Vishal, son of the deceased and the injuries of the post -mortem report do not match. Such a huge amount of insurance claim, a huge difference in the declared income, a conspiracy to murder and fraud. So far, the police inquiry has come to light from some companies that Vishal got a claim of about one crore rupees.
Sanjay Kumar also alleges that Vishal Kumar did not cooperate with the team during the investigation and did not give many important documents. On the contrary, he also tried to bribe an officer of the team to complete the investigation soon. Even when the company’s official took statements of witnesses in the case, it was revealed that he was given a bribe. Apart from this, there are discrepancies regarding age in Aadhaar card and PAN card. Also, the vehicle involved in the accident and its registration was also not given.
