Ksrtc driver’s video: A surprising case has come to light from Haaveri in Karnataka. Here a Muslim government employee stopped the bus and started offering Namaz. During this time, the passengers sitting in the bus waited to reach their destination. The video of this incident spread rapidly on social media, which has increased the problem of that employee.

There is a lot of opposition to this incident in Haveri district. The incident took place on Tuesday when passengers were sitting in the bus. It is being told that some passengers also opposed it, but the driver still stopped the bus and read the Namaz. The incident took place on the Hubli-Hauvery Road in the evening. After the video surfaced, the Karnataka State Transport Corporation has ordered an inquiry into the case.

The minister wrote a letter to the officer demanding action

Minister of Karnataka Government of Karnataka Ramalinga Reddy has written a letter to the managing director of NWKRTC (Hubli) in this case. He wrote that on the evening of April 29, a driver-less driver stopped the bus going from Hubli to Havelri and read Namaz, whose video has gone viral on social media.

The minister said that those who are in government service, they need to follow the rules. Everyone has the freedom to follow their religion, but it should be done outside office time. It is not right to stop the bus filled with passengers in the middle and offer Namaz. The minister said in his letter that the viral video should be investigated immediately and if the employee is found guilty then strict action should be taken against him. He also said that necessary steps should be taken to ensure that such incidents do not happen again in future.

Such a case has been revealed before

According to media reports, a similar incident took place in Bangalore in July 2023. In this, a female passenger objected to wearing a bus driver’s cap of BMTC (Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation). The woman said that government employees should not show any kind of religious symbol during duty.

The driver told that he has been wearing a hat for many years and no one had objected to before, but still he agreed to take off the hat. The video of this incident also went viral and people gave different opinions on it.
