Voter list is being updated in Bihar before the assembly elections to be held at the end of this year. In connection with the preparations to update the voter list, all political parties have actively participated in the booth level under the Special Science Campaign (SIR) for special intensive revision of the voter list.

So far, more than 1.5 lakh party workers have been appointed as booth level agents (BLA). All political parties are in the process of appointing more BLAs for proper investigation of electoral rolls.

During the ongoing special intensive revision process in Bihar, the Election Commission had advised all political parties to immediately appoint its workers as booth level agents (BLA) in all polling stations, so that later there is no need to extract flaws in the electoral roll.
