The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has carried out a major raid in Goa on Sunday and Monday (September 28-29, 2025). This action was taken under the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA). The Enforcement Directorate along with Goa raided a total of 15 locations in Delhi-NCR, Mumbai and Rajkot. This action of ED was associated with Golden Globe Hotels Private Limited, Worldwide Resorts and Entertainment Private Limited and Big Daddy Cassino.
In this raid of the ED, about Rs 2.25 crore cash, US $ 14,000, or about 11.5 lakh rupees and other foreign currency, whose total value has been stated to be around 8.50 lakh, has been recovered.
What has happened in ED investigation so far,
Investigation by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) revealed that in Casino, customers were given poker chips in exchange for foreign currency and the amount of victory was also given to customers in foreign currency according to their demand. The investigation also found that Casino’s staff were promoting online gambling websites like Rolex77.co, ICASINO247.com, Play247s.com, Win Daddy, Poker Daddy.
During the raid, it was revealed that crypto wallets were being used for payment and transaction from Poker players. The USDT (crypto currency) was being sent to different countries of Dubai and the world through Angadia service and crypto wallets. Many fake accounts, which were opened in the name of others, were deposited and withdrawn, which was later sent abroad.
Many important documents and evidence found in the raid
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) freeze USDT cryptocurrency worth more than 90 lakhs during the action. Apart from this, many important documents and digital evidence have been found, which has revealed violations of FEMA rules and cross border hawala-crypto network. The ED has said that investigation is still going on regarding this entire network and soon there may be more big revelations.
