The festival of Eid ul Fitr was celebrated with great pomp on Monday (March 31, 2025) from Jammu and Kashmir to Kanyakumari. In many places, there was a ruckus in the celebration of Eid.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated the countrymen on Eid. He posted on X and wrote, ‘Eid festival should increase the spirit of hope, harmony and kindness in our society. You get success in all efforts. Happy Eid’.
In Anantnag, Kashmir, from children to elders, hugging each other and congratulated Eid. Thousands of Muslims offered Eid prayers in Jama Masjid in Delhi and congratulated each other.
Due to the ban on offering Namaz on the road, people were seen clashing with police in many places in UP. After the Namaz in Saharanpur, many people waved Palestine flags. In Meerut and Moradabad, there was a sharp noise between the police and the Namazis with Namaz in Idgah.
Eid festival was celebrated with great pomp in Lucknow, the capital of UP. Special arrangements were made to offer women prayers at Idgah in Aishbagh. SP supremo Akhilesh Yadav accused Aishbagh Idgah of barricading and stopping them.
Eid was also celebrated with great pomp in Haryana. However, after Namaz in Nuh, 2 groups went fiercely in which many people were injured.
People came to offer prayers by tying black straps in many places in the country. A large number of roads were offered on the roads in Trichy, Tamil Nadu.
