PM modi on eid celebration: Eid-ul-Fitr is considered one of the most sacred festivals in Islam, which is celebrated after the Pak month of Ramadan. During this month, people of Muslim community fasten and worship. The festival of Eid is being celebrated with pomp on Monday (31 March) after seeing the moon on Sunday (March 30) in the country. On this special occasion, President Draupadi Murmu and Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar have greeted the countrymen.
President Draupadi Murmu congratulated the countrymen on the eve of Eid-ul-Fitr and said that this festival strengthens the spirit of brotherhood, cooperation and compassion. He said that this festival promotes social bonds after fasting and worship during Ramadan and motivates us to create a peaceful and prosperous society. The President said that this opportunity inspires us to further encourage the spirit of charity, sympathy and humanity. He further hoped that this festival brought peace, progress and happiness in everyone’s life.
Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar wished Eid to the countrymen
Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar also greeted the countrymen on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr. He said that this festival reflects our cultural diversity and power of unity. Eid is not only a religious festival but also a symbol of our democratic values. The Vice President said that this festival inspires us to adopt a sense of unity, compassion and mutual respect. He appealed to all citizens to maintain harmony and unity and said that this festival gives us an opportunity to pledge to move forward as a strong and rich nation.
Atmosphere of joy across the country
Eid preparations are in full swing in different parts of the country. The markets are being seen in the markets and people are busy buying new clothes, sweets and sevaiyan. Preparations for offering special prayers in mosques and Idgahs have been completed. People of the Muslim community have been congratulating each other and congratulating each other after offering Namaz. There is also a tradition of donating to the needy on this occasion, which promotes the sense of equality and compassion in the society.
