The company said that under the standard operating process (SOP), the aircraft has been done temporarily from the ground so that it can be detailed. The return of the aircraft AI114 (Birmingham to Delhi) has been canceled.

Alternative arrangements for passengers
Air India said that alternative flights and stagnation are being arranged for passengers whose return flights have been canceled. A spokesperson for Air India said that the safety of our passengers and crew is our top priority. All systems are normal, yet full technical insurance is being done to prevent any possible risk. ” The airline’s maintenance team and the engineering unit are currently investigating the aircraft.

What is RAT (Ram Air Turbine)?
RAT i.e. Ram Air Turbine is an emergency security system that becomes active on its own when an emergency or emergency in the aircraft has a failure or emergency. It moves under the engine or by exiting the wings of the aircraft and rotates with air pressure and provides emergency power and hydrial pressure.

RAT remains inactive under normal conditions.
It is only active when the main systems of the aircraft fail.
