The police arrested the accused from Prayagraj and brought them to Singrauli.
In Singrauli, an engineer of the L&T company beat his wife to death. After this, the body was wrapped in a blanket and took him to Prayagraj by car. The mother also supported her in erasing the evidence. Both of them cremated him there.

The incident is on 15 August. The police arrested the accused husband Nikhil Dubey and his mother Duradeshwari Devi from Shastri Nagar in Prayagraj. During the interrogation, Nikhil said that the wife was told by the wife on asking for water. Angry wife’s head was slammed on the kitchen platform and killed her.
Court sent the accused to jail Police said that the accused engineer’s mother Duradeshwari Devi helped her to hide and eradicate the evidence. Both the accused were arrested and registered a case under sections 103 (1), 238, 3 (5) of BNS and produced in the court from where they were sent to jail.

Police gets information from GM of the company Meanwhile, the police came to know from the company’s HR GM that Nikhil had told on WhatsApp call that he had cremated his wife at the electric crematorium in Shankarghat, Prayagraj. The police team immediately reached Prayagraj and started searching CCTV footage.
During investigation, it was revealed that Nikhil wrapped the body of his wife in a blanket and took it to Prayagraj by placing it on the back seat of the car. He also curtain the car glasses to avoid CCTV.
