The T-20 series between India and England is starting from 22 January. The first match will be held in Kolkata, for which both the teams are ready. Although England has defeated India in 46% of T-20 matches, the team last won the series of this format in India 14 years ago in 2011.

England’s white ball captain Jos Buttler is the team’s top run scorer against India. He has scored 498 runs in 22 T-20s with 4 fifties. Jason Roy is at second place with 356 runs and Oan Morgan is at third place with 347 runs. Both Roy and Morgan have retired, now the English team is going to play T20 series against India with its young batsmen.
Rohit-Kohli top scorers against England
Former Indian captain Virat Kohli has scored the most runs for the team against England. He has 648 runs in his name with the help of 5 fifties in 21 T-20s. He has also won the Player of the Series award in 2021. Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav have scored 1 century each against England. Both are among the top-3 run scorers of the team against England.
Jordan took 24 wickets against India
Fast bowler Chris Jordan is the English player who has taken the highest number of 24 wickets against India. After him, Adil Rashid has taken 9 wickets and Joffra Archer has taken 8 wickets. Both Archer and Rashid will be seen playing in the T-20 series, while Jordan was not selected in the team.
Chahal top bowler against England
Yuzvendra Chahal from India remains at the top among the players who have taken the most T20 wickets against England. He has taken 16 wickets in 11 T20s, which includes the feat of taking 6 wickets in an innings once. Hardik Pandya is second with 15 wickets and Jasprit Bumrah is third with 9 wickets.
Butler also the top scorer of the team
In the current squad of England, captain Jos Buttler has scored the maximum 3526 runs from the team. Their names are 1 Century and 27 Fifty. Leg spinner Adil Rashid is the team’s top wicket taker in T-20. He has taken 130 wickets in 121 T20s.
Arshdeep India’s top wicket taker
India’s top wicket taker in T-20 is Arshdeep Singh, he is just 1 wicket away from scoring a century. He has 99 wickets in his name in 62 T-20s. Captain Suryakumar Yadav is the team’s top run scorer in the current squad. He has scored 2580 runs with the help of 4 centuries and 21 fifties.
