Chennai Zonal Head R.S. An internal email of UCO Bank against Ajit is becoming quite viral on social media. In this email, the bank employee has accused the zonal head of cruel and derogatory attitude with the officials. Many users said that this is not discipline, but a merciless dictatorship. Several examples were also given about the officer that he has refused to seek the mother’s recruitment in ICU, death or even during the disease seeking leave and has also insulted the employees working in the bank for asking for leave.
No response from Chennai office
In this case, there is no official response from UCO Bank or Chennai office so far. In the email, the employee, the zonal head of Chennai Zone, R.S. Accused Ajit that he has created an atmosphere of fear and pressure and treats the officers like a servant, not like professionals. In the complaint, he has been called “dictator, derogatory and insensitive”.

The bank employee has also given example about this, in which he said that the mother of a branch chief was in the ICU, even then he was asked for forcible return date before being discharged. In another case, when the mother of an officer passed away, the zonal head said – “Everyone’s mother dies, do not do the drama. Joint immediately, I will show the absence by cutting salary.” Later, an official letter was also issued against that officer.
Extremely rigid and inhuman behavior with employees
Email alleges that zonal heads treat employees extremely rigid and inhuman. In the email, it has been further alleged that when a one -year -old daughter of a branch manager was hospitalized, the officer said to him, “Why are you a doctor? Why are you in the hospital? Immediately go to the office, otherwise I will marry you LWP. In another case, in another case, when the condition of an officer’s wife was very bad, when the boss asked for his wife to take the hospital immediately.
RBI demands action from Finance Ministry
Here is a screenshot of the email which has gone viral online, this screenshot has further instigated the online anger, and many users have described it as cruelty in the name of discipline. Another user wrote- “There is discipline collapse without humanity. Rules can rule on freedom; they cannot forgive cruelty. When power forgets this, it stops being disciplined and starts to collapse.” By tagging this email on social media, the users have demanded immediate action by tagging RBI, Finance Ministry and other institutions. Till now neither UCO Bank nor Chennai Zonal Office has given any official statement.
