EXCLUSIVE: Fake officers game on the highway! NHAI officer is being collected in the name of reflectors service – extraction in the name of nhai miscreants as highway reflector service officials extra

Be careful if you pass through any work through Bihar-Jharkhand border (Bhagalpur-Dumka Marg). Describing themselves as an officer of the National Highway Reflectors Service, 6 thugs forcibly extort people and threaten the owners who do not give money.

Illegal recovery of Rs 500-500 from every vehicle

Describing the Safety Authority of Safety Authority of the Ministry of Road Transport-Raj, these people are making illegal recovery of five to five hundred rupees from every vehicle passing by. This illegal recovery is being done by these thugs on NH-133E and the police also looked helpless during this time.

To maintain confidence, these thugs also give a slip after recovering money from people, on which National Highway Reflector is written, while there is no such agency of the state government or central government and there is no relation with the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI).

However, these thugs are recovering money from people by taking the name of NHAI. This slip is also written by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways as per instructions, while NHAI does not recover any other tax from the vehicles on the roads besides toll tax. The validity of this slip given by the thugs has also been told four months.

Recovery in the name of National Highway Refleator

The National Highway Reflector that is mentioned on the slip is not a service but a small technique of road safety. Reflectors are small but necessary road safety devices in appearance, designed to increase visibility in low light conditions. Reflectors reflect the light coming from the vehicle headlight, causing the drivers to see road boundaries, lanes and breakers easily in night or in bad weather.

In order to maintain confidence in people in lieu of this illegal recovery from every incoming vehicle, these thugs also give a safety kit, which contain first aid things. When a complaint was made to the policemen, they directly said that you should contact the National Highway Authority of India for this.

NHAI ordered to file FIR

After the matter came to light, now the National Highway Authority (NHAI) has instructed the officials to register an FIR against these anti -social elements.
NHAI has directed the regional offices of Bihar and Jharkhand to register an FIR against those who are making illegal recovery in the name of NHAI.

Outside such illegal activity: NHAI

Regarding this, an NHAI official said, ‘Such illegal activities cannot be tolerated, we appeal to people not to become victims of such illegal recovery. No service called ‘National Highway Reflectors Service’ is being operated by NHAI, the receipts issued are fake and people should be careful with them.

It is being told that this illegal recovery has become a big problem for drivers, especially for the drivers engaged in interstate transport. Regular travelers say that such illegal activities do not hurt people’s trust.
