There was a positive talks between US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin over efforts to end the Ukraine war. Trump said that on the basis of these discussions, this fierce war is very likely to end. Putin also expressed the possibility of cooperation between the two countries on the ceasefire proposal to Trump in a message. Kremlin expressed “hopes” with “vigilance” that an agreement could be done.
Trump also said that thousands of Ukrainian soldiers have been completely surrounded by the Russian Army and are in a very weak position. He appealed to Putin that these soldiers should be spared. This conversation is happening at a time when the US has proposed a 30-day ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine.

Jailonski has also approved the proposal
Ukrainian President Valodimir Jailonsky has accepted this proposal, while Putin has theoretically accepted it. Kremlin gave his consent on the deal on Thursday, but Putin insisted that the terms of the ceasefire have not been decided yet.
Russian President Putin said, “Thoughts themselves are correct and we definitely support it, but there are some issues that should be discussed, and I think we should talk about it with our American colleagues and partners.”
Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Jailonsci said that his country is ready for a 30 -day ceasefire, which can be used to prepare a long -term peace plan. He said in a conversation with the media, “I am very serious about the ceasefire and it is important for me to end the war.”
Russia accused of prolonging the case
Jailonski also said on Friday that the terms of the Russia ceasefire are trying to “stretch it and pull it out”. Earlier this week, the US had interacted for more than eight hours with Ukrainian officials in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. After the discussion, Ukraine accepted the ceasefire, and the US has decided to resume military support and intelligence support with Ukraine.
