On Wednesday, the famous US rapper and music producer Sean ‘Didi’ Comombs has been convicted by the court in a case related to prostitution. However, he has been acquitted of big allegations like sex trafficking and gang running. This decision came after the in-depth deliberation of the jury that lasted for three days, which is considered a big and historical event in the music and pop culture of America.
What is the matter?
According to local media reports, 55 -year -old ‘Didi’ Comombs has been found guilty of violation of the ‘Federal Man Act’. This law says that it is a crime to have illegal sex by taking someone across the state border. The American Prosecutors (Prosecution) alleged in the court that Comombs arranged for many people, including their girlfriends and male sex workers, traveling in different states of America, which were allegedly having sex.
Under this allegation, Comombs can be sentenced to a maximum of 10 years in jail.
Relief from serious allegations
However, the jury acquitted him of serious allegations such as racketering conspiracy (organized crime operation) and sex trafficking. Among them, American rapper could have been sentenced to life imprisonment.
