New Delhi. The Melbourne Test played between India and Australia was much talked about. Everyone was keeping an eye on the outcome of the clash between two high profile teams. In the last session of the game on the fifth day, the host team turned the tables and won the match. India trailed 1-2 in the 5-match series. On one hand, everyone was busy discussing the Boxing Day Test, on the other hand, old records of runs were broken during the Afghanistan and Zimbabwe Tests.
The test match played between Zimbabwe and Afghanistan in Bulawayo ended in a draw on the last day. The exciting end of the first Test match took place on Monday in which both the teams gave record breaking performances. Zimbabwe scored 586 runs in their first innings, which is their highest Test score so far. Before this, his highest score was 563/9 against West Indies in 2001. Afghanistan responded by scoring 699 runs, which is their highest test score till date. Earlier, his highest score was 545/4 against Zimbabwe in 2021.
