Two years ago, an innocent girl, who was married to that house, was missing for the last two months, but now her body was recovered from a pit in front of the same house. The way a father and son have carried out the incident of this murder, he exposes the face of humanity. This story is not just about a murder, but also of those relationships which are filled with doubt, hatred and greed instead of love and trust.
A woman from Faridabad suddenly disappears from her in -laws’ house. From the in-laws to the maiden, they get tired of finding it. Even the Faridabad police does not know anything about it. But after about 2 months, something happens that the woman’s body is recovered from the pit 10 feet deep below the road right in front of her in -laws. After all, what is this secret? How did the woman disappear from the house and reach the pit outside the house? There is a dreadful story behind it.
In Roshan Nagar locality of Faridabad, a pit of 10 feet God on the threshold of house number 61 is currently under strict police supervision. Because the police is digging that pit and the reason for digging is a corpse found from the pit. Actually, the police suspected that the body of a woman could be buried in front of this house. And when the police excavated this pit on this suspicion, the woman’s body was really recovered from inside the pit. The corpse is about 2 months old.
In a dense residential area, where there is a presence of someone every moment in the streets, people keep coming and going, there is a corpse buried in front of a house for two months and no one knows the ears, it was a surprising thing in itself. The question was that who buried this corpse in the pit in front of the house? And how did no one noticed to bury the corpse? So when the police investigation proceeded, shocking answers to these questions have come out.
In fact, the corpse extracted from the pit was not of anyone else but the daughter -in -law of the Singh family living in the same house. The Tanu, whom his maternal grandfather as well as all the people of the in-laws had been searching for about 2 months continuously. In fact, Tanu had gone somewhere from her in -laws without telling anyone. In such a situation, except to try to find the daughter -in -law, the in -laws had no other option. The in -laws had given a lot of disappearance of Tanu in a nearby police station in this connection. This case is really strange.
Let us go back two years to know each truth of this strange story. It was the day of 21 June 2023, when Tanu, a resident of Firozabad, was married to Arun Singh of Faridabad. Arun used to run a factory of sewing embroidery in Faridabad with his father Bhup Singh. For a few days of marriage, the relationship between husband and wife was fine. The daughter -in -law’s relationship with her in -laws was also good. But gradually the relationship started getting angry.
In fact, Arun was addictive, which often used to fight with Tanu and instead of supporting the daughter -in -law in this quarrel and instead of convincing Arun, the in -laws used to harass the in -laws. From above, he was also persecuted for dowry. In the last two years, there have been many such occasions when Tanu went to her maternal uncle to Firozabad after being fed up with the in-laws and then returned to her in-laws after explaining.
But the case took the most serious turn when Tanu suddenly disappeared from home without telling her in -laws on 23 April 2025. Even his mobile phone was mysteriously switched off. After Tanu’s disappearance, the in-laws informed the police along with informing the police. But despite passing many days, Tanu was not found.
Tanu’s in-laws had told the people around their daughter-in-law to run away from their daughter-in-law’s house. But his maternal grandfather suspected the story of the in -laws. In such a situation, his family members who came to Faridabad from Firozabad complained to the Faridabad police and expressed suspicion that the way new stairs and platforms have been made outside Tanu’s in-laws recently, they suspect that there may be a conspiracy behind it.
Now the police started to find out when the fresh cement was gone outside Tanu’s in -laws’ house? When were the stairs built? So it was found out that the days when Tanu ran away from his in -laws. Now the police started suspecting that it is not that the in -laws had taken the life of Tanu and buried his body outside the house here and did the cementing from above? The matter seemed incredible. But this could also happen.
Now the police questioned the nearby people. It was learned that Tanu’s father -in -law Bhup Singh had dug the pit for the disposal of water used in the house outside his house and also filled it after two days. But when the police talked to the mason, who was the semantic mason after digging the pit, then his suspicion turned into confidence. In fact, the police came to know that Bhup Singh had dug for the disposal of water coming out of the house. But to fill the pit and sit on top, he had filled the pit before the day he had called the mason and placed the bricks on it.
Bhup Singh then told the mason that he has postponed the intention of filling water in the pit and hence it has filled it. He then asked the mason to do the cementing at the pit in the pit and make new stairs. Since the mason was getting money for his work, he went away from there. But after listening to this sequence of excavation of the pit first and then it was filled with it suddenly, the police decided to get the excavation done in the front of the house.
Eventually, the police got excavated at that place and the result was the same, which was afraid. Tanu, who disappeared on 23 April, was finally recovered from the pit in the form of a corpse from the pit. Surprisingly, when the police of Palla police station investigated the matter, he only came to know the role of Tanu’s father -in -law Bhup Singh in the initial investigation. The long series of questioning the rest of the people was going on.
Finally, in view of the poorness of Palla police station, the investigation of this case was handed over to the Crime Branch. And when the Faridabad Crime Branch proceeded the investigation of the case, it was revealed which was quite shocking. Tanu was murdered by his father -in -law Bhup Singh, his son, Tanu’s husband Arun Singh and his mother -in -law. On the night of 22 and 23 April, Sajishan Arun had added sleeping pills to his wife Tanu and sister’s food. So that one can kill one and keep one with the murder. Although Tanu’s mother -in -law Sonia was aware of the entire conspiracy, but she had already gone to her maternal home to avoid getting trapped.
The plan was that Bhup Singh will first go to the daughter-in-law’s room and kill her and then both the father and son will together hide the corpse. But another painful aspect of the story was that when Bhup Singh went to his daughter -in -law’s room to kill, his intentions got spoiled after seeing the daughter -in -law sleeping in deep sleep and he also raped her daughter -in -law before the murder. After this, he strangled him to death and then both the father and son together put the corpse in the pit dug in front of the house and filled it with mud and bricks. This is the reason that Tanu’s sister -in -law was not aware of this incident of killing her sister -in -law. Apart from Bhup Singh, the Crime Branch has also arrested husband Arun and mother -in -law Sonia.
But the role of the local police is under suspicion in this case. The question is why the local police could not remove the curtain from this secret, which has removed the crime branch? The same question should have been in the mind of the police of Palla police station that in a house where five people live, one should be killed and except only one, the rest of the family do not know about it, how can this happen? The question is also that after all, how can someone close the pit with soil and bricks by putting the corpse alone overnight?
The way Tanu was killed, he might not have survived his life from the promptness of the police, but if the police of Palla police station had already investigated the case seriously, it would have been so much that it would have been so much that it would not take 2 months to reveal this terrible incident of murder.
