In the case of murder of elderly Kalishankar Uttam in Fatehpur district of Uttar Pradesh, the police has made a big disclosure with the help of CCTV footage. Anshu Awasthi, accused of this murder in Biranai village of Jehanabad police station area, has been arrested and sent to jail. The police have also recovered the stick used in the murder.
Controversy started due to abuse, murder reached murder
According to Superintendent of Police Anoop Singh (SP), accused Anshu Awasthi was often abused. When the deceased Kalishankar tried to convince him, the accused came in charge and attacked the elderly. The entire incident of murder was captured in CCTV camera installed in Kalishankar’s flour mill premises, which helped in investigation.
Kalishankar was living in Biranai for 20 years
62 -year -old Kalishankar Uttam was originally a resident of Lahuri Sarai village, but he started the business of flour mill with land in Biranai village 20 years ago. He had built his house over the mill. On Wednesday evening, accused Anshu Awasthi had earlier threatened to remove the CCTV camera, but went on persuading the villagers.
At night attack, death during treatment
But on the night of June 25/26, Anshu returned again and attacked Kalishankar sleeping on the bed outside the factory with a stick. After hearing the noise, the son of the deceased, Shivshankar and other families reached down, Kalishankar was found soaked in blood. He was immediately taken to the Community Health Center in Amauli, from where the district hospital was referred in critical condition. Kalishankar died during treatment.
Wife had already died
Please tell that the wife of the deceased had died three years ago. Now his murder has put the whole family in deep shock. The police has registered a case of murder against accused Anshu Awasthi and has been sent to jail. Police say that strict action is being taken on such incidents to maintain law and order.
