A heartbreaking incident has come to light in Idgah Mohalla of Dehri Nagar police station area of Rohtas district in Bihar, where a woman along with her lover and her partner strangled her husband to death. The police have arrested the three accused, including the deceased’s wife Reshma Khatoon. The incident is on the night of 23 June.
Giving information in this regard, SP Roshan Kumar said that late night Dehri Nagar Police Station received information that a woman in Idgah Mohalla along with two people had killed her husband Mohammad Ashraf. On the basis of information, the police station and the team of Dial 112 reached the spot taking quick action. On seeing the police, one person jumped from the roof and tried to escape from the door, who was cordoned off. During the search on the spot, the body of the deceased Mohammad Ashraf was recovered from the room.

In police interrogation, wife confessed to crime
During the interrogation, the relatives of the deceased said that the deceased’s wife Reshma Khatoon is also involved in the murder, who has also been detained. The three Mohammad Ishtakhar Hasan (lover), Mohammad Jamshed (partner), and Reshma Khatoon have confessed their crime in police interrogation. The SP said that Ishtakhar Hasan and Reshma Khatoon had a love affair for the last eight-nine years. When Mohammad Ashraf came to know about this, he told this to his family, due to which Reshma had to face social disdain.
Due to this, he planned to murder together with lover. Ishtakhar was currently living in Kolkata. As part of the murder plan, he came to Dehri on 22 June with his friend Mohammad Jamshed and stopped at the station. At around 1 pm, Reshma called both of them home and strangled her husband to death. At the same time, the son of the deceased sleeping in the next room woke up after hearing the noise. After which the people gathered around after hearing the voice. Then after this, the police informed the police. At present, the three accused have been arrested and sent to jail and further action is going on.
