The Air India aircraft accident has shocked everyone. Every star from the entertainment world is usually expressing his grief over it. At the same time, Bollywood’s Bhaijaan Salman Khan canceled his event while reacting to this incident. Not only this, South Star Vishnu Manchu postponed Kanappa’s trailer event, while the screening of Rana Naidu has also been postponed.
Salman’s event cancell
After the painful plane accident of Air India, three major programs in the entertainment world have been canceled. One of them is the opening of the Indian Supercross Racing League, which Bollywood superstar Salman Khan was about to launch. Salman has not said anything direct yet but a press note has been issued towards the team.
A few hours after the accident, the organizers decided to cancel the program. Ishaan Lokhande, the founder of the Indian Supercross Racing League, released a emotional statement- “As we all have just heard of this sad news, the Indian Supercross Racing League and Mr. Salman Khan stand with the whole country in this difficult time. All our condolences and blessings are with the afflicted families.”
Kannappa’s trailer launched
Along with this, the trailer of Vishnu Manchu, whose film ‘Kannappa’ was going to be launched on June 13 and a pre-relief event was to be held in Indore on the same day. He has announced that this event has been canceled and the release of the trailer has been postponed for one day.
He wrote on X- “My heart has been broken for those who lost in the Air India accident in Ahmedabad today. We are in deep mourning. So we are postponing the release of Kannappa trailer for a day and is also canceling the pre-release event to be held in Indore tomorrow.” In this very difficult time, my prayers are with the afflicted families. “
Screening of Rana Naidu also postponed
The screening of Venkatesh and Rana Daggubati’s Netflix web series ‘Rana Naidu’ season 2 has also been canceled. A press note released by the team states that “In view of the tragic aircraft accident in Ahmedabad, we have decided to cancel the screening of ‘Rana Naidu’ in Netflix India. We have condolences and prayers to all the people affected by this tragedy.”
The screening was scheduled to take place at 5 pm in Chitra Cinema, Dadar East in Mumbai. Apart from Rana Daggubati, Surveen Chawla, Arjun Rampal, Kriti Kharbanda and Sushant Singh were expected to attend the event.
The tragic accident occurred with Air India flight AI 171, which crashed five minutes after flying from Ahmedabad Airport on Thursday afternoon. This flight was going to London. The aircraft was a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner and had 242 people, including 230 passengers and 12 crew members.
