Panic spread in Bhadouli village in Meerut, UP on Saturday morning when BDC member Pramod Bhadana was shot dead. Pramod (32) was a farmer by profession and was currently working as a BDC member.
The incident took place around 7:30 am when Pramod was taking fodder for buffaloes from his buggy. At the same time, an attacker suddenly came out of the sugarcane field, who had a pistol in his hand. According to the villagers, the attacker fired on Pramod on seeing the bullets. Three bullets were hit by Pramod, while one bullet was also hit by his buffalo.

On hearing the sound of firing, farmers working in the nearby fields reached the spot. He saw that Pramod was lying on the ground soaked in blood. He was rushed to the hospital in a hurry, where doctors declared him dead. After the incident, there is an atmosphere of mourning in the village and there is a lot of resentment among the villagers.
As soon as the information was received, the police force of two police stations reached the spot. The occasion was inspected and evidence was collected. The police have started searching for the attacker by blocking the area.

Confirming the case, SP’s SP countryside Abhijeet Kumar of Meerut said, “Pramod Bhadana was reported to be shot in Bhadoli village, he was rushed to the hospital for treatment, where he died. A case has been registered in the case and three teams have been formed. Soon the culprits will be arrested and strict action will be taken.
The family has expressed the possibility of rivalry behind Pramod’s murder. At present, the police is investigating with all the angles. This incident has created sensation not only in Bhadoli village but also in the entire area.
