The Congress party has recently expressed serious concern about Bangladesh being invited by China to trade. The party says that this step of Bangladesh can be dangerous for the safety of India’s North East.
Talking on this issue, Congress spokesperson Pawan Kheda has fiercely targeted the BJP government on Monday i.e. March 31. The party alleged that the central government is not paying attention to the situation of a sensitive state like Manipur.
Kheda said in his statement, “This step of Bangladesh’s invitation to China is being done with the aim of surrounding India, which can pose a big threat to our northeastern states.” He believes that India’s foreign policy has become weak and that is why Bangladesh is now sending China to send goods via its sea (Bay of Bengal).

Pawan Kheda also shared a video of Muhammad Yunus, the chief advisor of Bangladesh, associated with the issue on social media, in which Yunus said during an event in China that Bangladesh is the patron of the Bay of Bengal and invited China to trade through that path.
Yunus also said in the same video that seven states in the eastern region of India are surrounded by sea and Bangladesh can become an important strategic partner for these states.
China accused of settling village in Arunachal Pradesh
Pawan Kheda also alleged that China has already taken a village in Arunachal Pradesh, India and the government is unable to take appropriate steps on it too. He also said that the country in which India played an important role, it can stand against us today.
Regarding this issue, the Congress says that the government should fulfill its responsibility towards the security of Northeast India and the threat of Bangladesh can be taken seriously.
