Pakistan News: The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) attacked the Jafar Express train on Tuesday in Balochistan province of Pakistan and took 440 passengers hostage. After about 36 hours of operation, the Pakistan Army has claimed to be rescued by the hostages. After this attack, the Pak Army is facing embarrassment worldwide.
Retired officer of Pak army, Adil Raja, called the incident to reveal the reality of Pakistan’s Army, Sarkar and ISI. The king said that it shows that to what extent the Pak army has weakened and how much major changes are needed in the entire system.
Adil Raja targeted
Famous Adil Raja, who lives in the UK and on social media, says that the Jafar Express attack has revealed the weakness of the security system of the Pakistani Army. The Pakistani army carried out rescue operations, but failed to get rid of most of the hostages.
The attack also shows the strategic failure of the Pakistani Army under the leadership of General Asim Munir. ISI’s corruption and political intervention have made the situation worse. The Pak Army tried to show less to the severity of the Jaffer Express attack, but the statements of independent sources and eyewitnesses clearly show that the loss is quite high.
‘Government has not understood Balochistan’
Adil Raja said, ‘Balochistan has been restless for a long time. There is a continuous struggle between the Baloch rebels and the Pakistani army demanding autonomy. Intelligence failures have been common there, but the attack on Jafar Express is an example of a complete failure of security measures.
He further said, “It is a great embarrassment for the Pakistani Army to host the train by the BLA hosting the train, which has been campaigning fiercely its anti -terrorism capabilities till now.”
‘ISI entangled in corruption and political tricks’
Adil Raja believes that the strategic mistakes of the Pakistani army have increased since Asim Munir became the army chief. The army seems unable to deal with internal security threats. The military leadership also ignored the reliable intelligence reports that were warning of attacks, causing heavy loss of life and property in Pakistan.
Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI is also entangled in corruption and political tricks. The agency is busy targeting opposition leaders instead of focusing on real threats, the terrorist groups are taking direct advantage of.
