The murder of a contractor spread sensation in the Gudamba police station area of Lucknow. On Tuesday, the body of 45 -year -old Umashankar Singh was found in a blood -soaked condition in the house in Arjun Enclave. He was a resident of Sultanpur and was living on rent on the first floor for two months.
On receiving the information of the incident, the police reached the spot and took the body in possession and sent it for postmortem. Also, the forensic team started investigation. On Wednesday, DCP Eastern Shashank Singh revealed the murder in a press conference.
Sensation from the contractor’s murder
According to the police, four people together killed Umashankar by strangling the transactions and mutual rivalry of money. It was told that the accused expressed their displeasure over the abuse and then committed the murder in a pre-planned manner.
The arrested accused include Sanjay Kumar Chauhan and Shiva Singh alias Shivram Singh (both Sultanpur residents) along with Kavinandan Singh alias Chhotu and Abhinandan Singh (both residents of Pratapgarh). They were caught near the fighter flyover.
Case filed against four accused
On the spot of the accused, a bag was recovered from Atrauli village, in which two arcs, a swollen and a kurta were found. On the basis of these evidences, sections of the Ordnance Act were also added to the trial. The police have registered a case against the four accused at Gudamba police station and further legal action is going on.
