Fourth accused Anand arrested in Meghalaya honeymoon murder

The police have arrested the fourth accused Anand in the case of the murder of the newly married Raja Raghuvanshi of Indore in Meghalaya. Meghalaya DGP I. Nongrang confirmed that Sonam Raghuvanshi, along with her lover Raj Kushwaha and mercenaries, had given a contract to kill her husband Raja. Sonam was detained from Ghazipur, while three other accused have already been arrested from Indore. According to the police, Sonam hatched this conspiracy due to a love affair. Shillong Police is reaching Ghazipur to take Sonam on transit remand.

Additional DCP (Crime) Rajesh Dandotia of Indore said, “On the night of June 8 or 9, Shillong Police and Indore Police conducted a joint operation. We were in constant contact with Shillong Police for the last 15-20 days. We were informed last night that Sonam was in Ghazipur. Meanwhile, three suspects were identified by Shillong Police.
