On June 12, a flight AI-171 from Ahmedabad to London collided with a medical hostel building shortly after the takeoff. It killed 270 people, including 241 passengers and crew members. Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau has reported 15 pages. According to initial investigation, the accident happened due to the closure of both engines of the aircraft. The fuel switches of both engines in the accident aircraft were closed, after which the pilots started it and tried to resume both engines, but the aircraft was at very low altitude, so the engines could not get time to get strength again and the aircraft crashed. However, it has not been revealed how the fuel switches were closed. All the points included in the report are pointing towards the non -technical disturbances in the plane and the pilot.

30 seconds flying from takeoff to accident

According to the report, the entire flight from takeoff to the accident lasted only about 30 seconds. Till this time, no warning or action has been recommended for an operator regarding Boeing 787-8 aircraft and GE GE GENX-1B engine in the report.
