New Delhi. The news of the players being injured continuously before the Champions Trophy is coming out. After Australia, now the South African team has suffered a strong setback. Fast bowler Garald Koetzi is out of the 2025 Champions Trophy. The enrichia, who was struggling with the back problem, was expected to come in place of his place, but the matter itself was reversed. While bowling on Wednesday (February 5), Koetzi felt a stretch in the groin after which he was out of the Champions Trophy along with the Tri -series.
Gerald Koetzi had already had to be out of the ongoing SA20 due to hamstring injury. The South African team hoped that they would be ready for the Champions Trophy starting on February 19. He was also included in the team of South Africa for the first match of the tri -series to be held with Pakistan and New Zealand.
