A girl, a member of a gangster gang in Ghaziabad, UP, has been arrested by the Kavinagar police for registering a false case of gang rape. The woman tried to trap a CA and her two friends by alleging false gang rapes. The investigation found the allegations baseless, after which the police caught the accused.
According to ACP Kavinagar Swatantra Kumar Singh, on May 8, the woman complained to the Madhuban Bapudham police station that accused Vineet Garg and his associates raped her first after feeding her drugs and then made pornographic videos and photos of her. Later on May 5, he was called a wrestler dhaba located in Kavinagar police station area on the pretext of returning those videos. Where the accused and his associates made the car inside on the pretext of giving the video and after that he was taken to a deserted place in the car and claimed a gang rape again.
But these allegations were not confirmed in the investigation of the police. In CCTV footage, the girl was seen coming alone at the dhaba. There was no indication of rape or injury even in the medical report. The mobile call detail record (CDR) was also revealed that at the time of the incident, the girl and the accused were at different places, whose CCTV footage was also found by the police.
Investigation also revealed that the girl is an active member of the gang of notorious gangster Sanjay Suri and his wife Jyoti Suri. Sanjay Suri has already registered more than 16 cases in cases of extortion, assault, fraud, forgery of documents and obstructing government work. The arrested girl also has five cases registered in various police stations of Ghaziabad.
ACP Kavinagar Swatantra Kumar Singh said that the woman deliberately filed a false case so that those people could be implicated to fulfill the gang’s rivalry and the conspiracy of illegal extortion can be carried out by implicating on charges of false gang rape. At present, the police have arrested the woman for giving false evidence and making false allegations under Section 231 of BNS, who has been sent to jail.
At the same time, in view of the seriousness of the case, police officials say that strict action will be taken in such false cases so that those who trap innocent people can be curbed.
