Birmingham. As a captain, Shubman Gill scored two centuries in the first two matches and joined the special list of Virat Kohli, Vijay Hazare, Sunil Gavaskar. Prior to Gill, these three players captained Test cricket for India and did wonders to score two centuries in the first two Tests. At the same time, Kohli scored three consecutive centuries in his first three Tests as a captain. Shubman Gill, the new captain of the Indian Test cricket team, also appeared in the second match of the 5 -match Test series against England. In the first match of this Test series i.e. in Leeds, he played an important century innings (147 runs) for India and now he got to see him in Birmingham.
