Ravindra Jadeja took 4 wickets on the third day against the West Indies.
After winning the Ahmedabad Test against the West Indies, captain Shubman Gill said, it was a perfect game for us. India won the first Test innings and 140 runs with the all-round performance of Team India vice-captain Ravindra Jadeja. India took a 1-0 lead in the two-match series with this victory. I am working hard on my batting- Jadeja Player of the match Ravindra Jadeja said, I am working hard on my batting. We were discharged for two months, there was no Test or ODI cricket, so I was working on my fitness. Went to Bangalore to work on batting. I was batting at number 9, 8 a few years ago but now I am at number 6, so I can prepare myself and give momentum to my innings.

We have to bat better- Chase West Indies captain Roston Chase said, “Obviously, when you win the toss and get out at 162, it is difficult to come back to him.” This is not the kind of demonstration we were expecting.
We have to bat better. There was some moisture on the first day in the pitch but we had to play beyond that. I did not feel that the time was wrong when the second new ball was delayed. I think when we took it, we did not let the batsmen play enough. We needed to test them more.
Batting is the main problem. The batsmen needed to form a partnership and we did not even get a fifty run partnership and you need a partnership in cricket, whether you are batting or bowling.
