There was a clash between two groups during the Holi procession (Holi) on Friday in Giridih district of Jharkhand. According to the police, many people were injured in this clash and at least three shops were allegedly set on fire.
A police officer told PTI that the police force has been deployed in the area and the situation is under control. The situation is under control and it is being monitored strictly. The official said the incident took place in Ghodathamba when a group protested the Holi procession passing through the area, after which there was a clash and the two sides pelted stones at each other.

Vehicles were set on fire
SP Dr. Bimal said, “The incident of clash between two communities has come to light in the Ghodathamba OP area. This incident happened during the celebration of Holi. We are identifying both communities, we are also looking for the people involved in the incident. Strict action will be taken after being identified. At present, the situation is under control and no one has been hurt … Some vehicles have been set up.”
At the same time, Deputy Development Commissioner Smita Kumari said, “During the celebration of Holi, some anti-social elements tried to spoil the law and order, but now the situation is under control. According to the information we received some anti-social elements have set some vehicles on fire. Investigations are being done to find out the cause of the incident.”
