A sensational incident has come to light in the Exhibition Road in the Gandhi Maidan police station area of Patna, the capital of Bihar. Policemen posted on Dial 112 were attacked by a youth. A sub-inspector was injured in this attack. The accused youth has been identified as 25 -year -old Shivten Raza.
The incident occurred when the accused youth was having a domestic dispute with his father. The father called Dial 112 and sought police assistance. As soon as the team of Dial 112 reached the spot, the young man suddenly became furious and attacked SI Sanjay Kumar Mandal, who was in the team.
The young man dragged him on the road, causing injuries to SI, his glasses broke and uniform also exploded. On receiving the information of the incident, the police of the nearby police stations including Gandhi Maidan reached the spot.
While the police was searching for the accused, he appeared in the crowd. The police nabbed him on the spot and after beating him fiercely on the middle road, he was put in a patrol vehicle (gypsy) and taken to Gandhi Maidan police station.
The father of the young man told that Shivten is mentally unwell and was undergoing treatment. He had not slept properly for the last five days and on Friday he was going to go to Bihar Sharif Mazar. But the driver did not arrive on time, due to which he became furious and started vandalizing the house.
For this reason, he called the police so that he could be pacified, but the young man attacked the police and attacked it showing more aggression. At present, the accused youth is being interrogated at Gandhi Maidan police station. The police have registered a case in several sections including assault, obstruction of government work.
