Before the Bihar elections, there is a political struggle for revision locker of votes. Meanwhile, Rahul Gandhi met many such people on Wednesday, who have been declared dead in the new voter list of the Election Commission. Rahul Gandhi drank tea with him and lashed out at the Election Commission and said that many interesting experiences in life but never got a chance to drink tea with the dead.
In fact, in Bihar’s Raghopur assembly constituency, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi, who was declared dead in the voter list of the Election Commission, shared the video of tea on his official social media handle X. With this he wrote, “There have been very interesting experiences in life, but never got a chance to drink tea with ‘dead people’. For this unique experience, thanks, Election Commission!”
These voters include Ramikbal Rai, Harendra Rai, Lalmuni Devi, Vachiya Devi, Lalvati Devi, Punam Kumari and Munna Kumar. All these are voters of Tejashwi Yadav’s constituency. It is alleged that during the SIR process, all the necessary paperwork was completed by them, but despite this, their names were removed from the voter list.
Congress accused- Names cut under conspiracy
Rahul Gandhi and the Congress allege that this is not just negligence, but a political conspiracy to deprive voters. According to the Congress, the Election Commission did not publicly release the list of voters dead, migrated etc. Party workers gathered this information in an informal manner from only 2-3 booths. It is claimed that the case of these seven people is just a glimpse, there are many living voters in the entire region who have been excluded from the list.
