Government will bring 15 bills in Parliament in the monsoon session, told in All Party meeting; Opposition said- Trump is taking credit for ceasefire, PM Modi should answer

The monsoon session of Parliament is going to start from July 21 and it will run for 21 days. In this session, the government plans to introduce 15 important bills (bills) in the House. There was an all -party meeting in Delhi on Sunday (June 20, 2025), in which leaders of many political parties participated. The government informed the opposition about these proposed bills.

In this meeting, the government faced many serious questions from the opposition parties. The opposition especially questioned US President Donald Trump taking credit for ceasefire (ceasefire) and the silence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

PM Modi will be on foreign tour during the session

It was also known in the meeting that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be on a foreign tour from July 23 to July 26 during the Parliament session. In such a situation, the opposition also objected to this that PM will not be in the country at such an important time.

Congress demands PM Modi to answer

Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi said that the government should respond to the country. He said, “We had fully supported the government at the time of war, but now the statements that the US President is making, they are questioning India’s reputation and the bravery of the army. Prime Minister Modi should clarify it.”

He also said that the PM had talked about peace in Manipur, but it has been two and a half years and the situation has not become normal yet. He also questioned the inaction of the Election Commission.

TDP put six issues

Telugu Desam Party (TDP) MP Lavu Shri Krishna Devarayalu said that his party has raised six issues.

1. Prime Minister Dhan-Dhanya Krishi Yojana should be discussed so that farmers can get fair price.

2. The funds found under the Water Life Mission said that the proper use of the funds.

3. Demand for a discussion on river link project, especially Godavari-Krishna link.

4. Appealed to repeat the success of PLI scheme in every field so that employment can increase.

5. Demand for the success of the delegation that went abroad, especially on Operation Sindoor and Pahalgam.

6. Talked about debate in Parliament on issues like online women harassment.

What did the Aam Aadmi Party say?

AAP MP Sanjay Singh said that US President Trump is repeatedly saying that he got a ceasefire, while the Government of India is not saying anything. He said, “The government should clarify how well the claim of Trump is. If the government does not respond in Parliament, we will raise this issue outside also.” Apart from this, he raised issues like Delhi’s slums, SIR exercises and electoral scams in Bihar.

BJD leader raised questions on law and order in Odisha

Biju Janata Dal (BJD) MP Sasmit Patra has demanded in Parliament that the deteriorating situation of law and order in the states of the country should be debated. He said that the central government cannot escape this responsibility. Pitra mentioned two painful incidents of Odisha- the death of a college student due to self-immolation and burning a 15-year-old teenager alive. He described these incidents as a sign of the collapse of law and order in the state.

He said that the BJP government of Odisha has failed in these matters and now a crisis has arisen on the security of common people in the state. Patra appealed to the Parliament to respond to the Center on this serious issue and make concrete debate.

Samajwadi Party questioned foreign policy

Ram Gopal Yadav said that the foreign policy of the country has completely failed. He said, “LG Manoj Sinha described the terrorist attack in Pahalgam as intelligence failure. During Operation Sindoor, the US President said that he stopped the war, but no country in the world stood up with India, which is a matter of concern.” He also raised the issue of removing the name from the voter list in Bihar.

What did Kiren Rijiju say after the all -party meeting?

After the all -party meeting, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju said that all the parties including the opposition have expressed their opinion. The issues that have been demanded for discussion will be raised in Parliament. The final decision of which subjects will be discussed will be taken in the Professional Advisory Committee (BAC)
