The central government on Wednesday approved Kedarnath and Hemkund Sahib rope-way projects. The cabinet has approved the development of the ranges from Sonprayag to Kedarnath (12.9 km) in Uttarakhand and from Govindghat to Hemkund Sahib (12.4 km) Ropeway Project- Ropeway Project under the National Ropeway Development Program.
