Story-1: Hope is less that Anuj will return alive
25 -year -old Anuj Sahu, a resident of Gumla, is stranded inside the tunnel. There is a hawthorn river on the way from Ranchi to Gumla. The road ends after the highway moves from the highway. The path of Kumbatoli emerges with the help of vehicles. The middle school is closed right next to the primary school. Anuj’s grandfather Chamar Sahu (65) was found in the half -built house in the same premises.

It is said that all the people of the house had gone to Kumbh, returned to the house as soon as it came to know that this accident has happened.
Anuj’s mother went to Kumbh. On coming back, it was found that this incident had happened. Two days later, the elder son received a call from an officer of the labor department. He said that the accident would have to go.
After the father has gone there, there are only Anuj’s grandfather and mother in the house. The father has also called Anuj’s elders home.
He told, ‘His mother has stopped eating and drinking. Missing is living. There is an elder son, there will be worry. If he was alone at home, he called the daughter so that at least it would be like.

Didn’t talk for 8 days
When we reached Anuj’s house, his mother Gayatri Devi went to bring water to the well. Gayatri Devi’s face is almost incapable of walking.
She says,
‘We do not want anything, we want our son. Has gone there twice. Went with the villagers in September. Now everyone is running away from there, my son is trapped inside. There has not been talk for 8 days, used to call us every morning. I had called that day too, we were returning from Kumbh, so the matter could not be done well.
Story-2: He is the one who earns alone in the house, how will they live if something happens
Santosh Sahu (30) of Tirra village, about 45 km from Gumla district headquarters, is also stranded in the tunnel. Husband-wife and three children under 12 years of age are alone in the house with his wife Santoshi Devi (27).
She says,
Our house has not had a broom from the same day. Our mind is broken. Whose trust? My brother has gone there, but he does not tell anything. Says- will leave. He would have heard the voice at least once. We have no one. To earn itself- to eat. If something happens to them, there is no one to give shoulder.
Santoshi Devi cries while telling us. She says, “You have to remain strong in front of children.” The 12 -year -old elder daughter binds them at the side.
Santoshi further says, ‘Children are asking when Papa will come. Talk to the phone, make a video call. Whom should we say? Whom to ask? ‘
The last time spoke on Saturday morning (22 February). At night, he said that he has to go from 5 in the morning, wake up. We woke up at five o’clock. On the other hand, they must have left for duty, we got engaged in children. Then we got a call from my brother -in -law (Santosh’s elder brother) in the evening that you came to know anything? Story-3: The hope of escape inside, the company is not even giving money now
After this, we (Bhaskar Reporter) reached the Palkot police station area of ​​Gumla to meet the third family. Sandeep (30) of Nathi Tola here went to Telangana at the behest of his maternal uncle. There was a huge atmosphere outside the house here too. Everyone’s eyes were on our side waiting for a untoward news.
In the last 8 days, only labor department officials have come here. We tried to talk to Sandeep’s mother, but she remained silent. She was just crying with God’s trust. We spoke to Sandeep’s sister Purnima. Purnima said,
Everyone is in bad shape in the house. Brother was going to earn. Salary was not received for three months. The company used to say that today you will get it. In the hope that some money would come together. The cost is going on. Brother used to call every morning and evening. It has been eight days today, there is no talk even once. Mama is also coming back.
Sandeep’s maternal uncle Raju Sahu was also working at the same place. Rather, he had worked Sandeep’s job there. We also talked to them. He was inside the tunnel at the time of the accident.
