The movement of all types of vehicles is completely banned on Saturday and Sunday to repair the Yamuna bridge on the Kanpur-Sagar highway passing through Hamirpur district of Uttar Pradesh. But it seems that this rule applies only to the common man, not honorable and VIP. A similar picture has come out during the ban on traffic on this bridge. The Hamirpur administration did not allow a carcass vehicle to cross the bridge on Saturday, during this time, the vehicle of MLA Manoj Prajapati from Hamirpur Sadar was seen filling the bridge. This revealed the double character of the administration.
The repair work is currently done on the Yamuna bridge in Hamirpur every Saturday and Sunday. For this reason, the movement of vehicles is closed on this bridge from 6 am to 12 pm on Sunday night. To ensure traffic diversion, police personnel posted near the bridge allowed BJP MLA Manoj Prajapati’s car to go from Hamirpur Sadar around 6:30 am on Saturday, while a dead body from Kanpur was not given an entry on the Yamuna bridge around 9:30 pm. The self -esteem begged the administration but no one listened to him. In compulsion, the son started walking on foot after loading his mother’s body in a stretcher.

Binda, a resident of Teda village in Sumerpur police station, said that his mother Shiv Devi had a foot fracture, due to which he was admitted to Kanpur. He died during treatment on Saturday morning. Binda was coming to Hamirpur in the morning with his mother’s body in an ambulance, but the vehicle was not given an entry on the Yamuna bridge. For this reason, with the help of an ambulance driver, he came to the other end of the river after walking about one kilometer of his mother’s body in a stretcher with the help of an ambulance driver. Later, he took the body in the auto and took him to his village. This picture shook the heart of every person passing through the bridge.

Hamirpur Sadar MLA Manoj Prajapati said in the case of removing his car while the traffic on the Yamuna bridge, that when he was crossing the bridge, the traffic was not completely discontinued, so his car went out. On June 21, the Chief Secretary’s convoy also passed away during the bridge being closed. Opposition parties have targeted the BJP government of the state on this matter. Samajwadi Party wrote in a post on X, ‘People in the BJP government are helpless and forced. In Hamirpur, the system of Yogi government again embarrassed humanity. Where on the one hand, the dead ambulance with a corpse on the closed Yamuna bridge for repair, the son had to take the body of the mother on the stretcher. On the other hand, the BJP government MLA’s car car passes the same closed bridge very embarrassing. The public will answer.

The Congress wrote on X, ‘The work of repairing a bridge was going on in Hamirpur, UP. Due to this, the bridge was closed and barricading was installed by putting a board of no entry. But … In the meantime, when an ambulance stopped there, he was stopped from going forward. There was a woman’s body in the ambulance. His son kept pleading in front of the officials that the body should be allowed to go to the vehicle, but no one listened to him. Finally, tired, the sons put the mother’s body on the stretcher and kept walking on the bridge for about one kilometer on foot.
