New Delhi. The Indian team declared the innings by scoring 427 runs on the fourth day in the second match of the 5 -match Test series against England. If the match is to be won, then the hosts will have to get a mountain -like score of 608 runs which is impossible. England star batsman Harry Brook asked India’s Test captain Shubman Gill to declare the innings of 450 runs on Saturday (fourth day of the match). He said that there is a possibility of rain on the fifth day and hence a huge score will take only to the draw.

Team India’s new Test captain Shubman Gill converted himself into a ‘run machine’, scoring a third century in four innings and brought India’s lead to 484 runs on the fourth day. Gill increased the scoring rate after changing the gear after the lunch break and completed the second century of his match during tea.
