Harshit Rana made his Test debut under the captaincy of Jaspreet Bumrah.
Indian fast bowler Harshit Rana has been instructed to stop for the Test series with Team India in England. He was earlier part of the India ‘A’ team and has played in two four -day matches against England Lions. In addition, he also played an intra-voice match against the Indian Test team.
According to the team management, Rana’s speed and bounce bowling can be beneficial on the English pitch. However, he is not yet officially included in the Test Squad. The Indian team has to play a 5 Test series against England from 20 June. The first match will be played in Handingley Leeds. The tour will run till 4 August.

Rana recently gave 99 runs in 27 overs in the first match against England Lions for India ‘A’ and scored 16 runs. He has taken 48 wickets in 13 matches at a bowling average of 27.79 in first class cricket. In addition, he has also performed well in batting, including a century and two half -centuries.

Harshit Rana made his Test debut during the tour of Australia last year. In the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, he took a total of 4 wickets in 2 Tests, his average of 50.75. Harshit’s best performance was in Perth, where he took 3 wickets for 48 runs.
However, he has not been selected in the team for the five -Test series against England. They are in place of Akash Deep, Arshdeep Singh and famous Krishna, Jaspreet Bumrah and Paper of Mohammad Siraj team.
