- Harveer lived with wife-son in Terra Society: According to BPTP police of Faridabad, Harveer, originally from Azaraunda village, used to work as a property dealer. He currently lived in a flat with wife Sangeeta and son Sahil (22) at Terra Society in Sector-75, Faridabad. His wife Sangeeta works as a nurse at ESI Hospital in Faridabad. Sangeeta Faridabad is a resident of NIT Gandhi Colony and both of them married in 1999. Son is studying BBA. He had an office in the society itself.
- Missing on July 10, wife-son said- went to visit Nepal: According to uncle Amar Singh Malik, his nephew Harveer suddenly went missing on 10 July. His mobile ‘switch off’ was coming. When he asked Harveer’s wife Sangeeta about Harveer, he did not give any satisfactory answer. On July 15, Sangeeta along with her son Sahil reached the in -laws in Azarunda village, where she told the family that Harveer had gone to visit Nepal.
- Police continued to collap for a month: It had been several days since Harveer went missing. The family members were tired of searching for him, but could not find any clue. On the other hand, wife-son was repeatedly saying that Harveer had gone to Nepal, but she could not be contacted due to mobile shutdown. According to uncle Amar Singh Malik, he complained to BPTP police station on 27 July. The police asked them to search in kinship. Then on July 31, the police collapsed. Seeing no action, the commissioner gave a complaint in the office. Despite this, the police asked to investigate after August 15.
- Deadbody was recovered from the bundle in the forest on 20 August: 40 days had passed for Harveer missing. On August 17, Harveer’s brother Kulbir went to the police and told the police suspicious of Harveer’s wife and son. After this, on August 18, both mother and son were taken into custody from Faridabad. The police questioned the two on August 18 and 19. During the interrogation of the police, son Sahil recovered Harveer’s body from the forest of Aravalli on the afternoon of August 20. The body was badly rotten due to the corpse lying in the forest for 40 days.

- It was suspected to talk about going to Nepal and vacating the house: Uncle Amar Singh Malik informed the police that since his nephew Harveer went missing, his wife Sangeeta and son are responding strangely. Both the Terra Society’s house has come to Azarunda by emptying the house and has been telling everyone here that Harveer has gone to Nepal. Ever since he has gone, his mobile is coming off. Harveer has never done this before. The police also found it strange after this.
- The message from Harveer’s mobile- untoward: Uncle Amar Singh told that only 5 days after the disappearance of the nephew, we had asked the question to Sangeeta and Sahil that why Harveer’s mobile is coming off, what has been said, how long will he return, where has we gone to Nepal, we go to see? So both of them could not give any satisfaction. On this day, I got a message from Harveer’s mobile. It was written in it- there is an untoward, Harveer will not come back now. As soon as the message came, he was called on the mobile, then he got closed again. This deepened the mother-son suspicion.

- The family expressed suspicion and got into police custody: BPTP police station in-charge Arvind said that Harveer’s uncle Amar Singh and brother Kulbir had expressed suspicion of killing the mother and son. On finding out its location, it was found that it was done from Harveer’s mobile and delivered from Faridabad area itself. That is, the matter going to Nepal was suspected. - On July 10, there was a fight in a dispute of 7 lakh rupees: According to BPTP police station in-charge, during interrogation, the mother-son revealed that Harveer had kept 7 lakh rupees in the house before 10 July. Both of them spent these rupees in fulfilling their hobbies. On July 10, when Harveer came to know about this, he fought fiercely. He was taken out of the house and closed to the door. When the people around had asked about the quarrel, he had sent them back saying that this is their personal matter. After the quarrel was over, Sangeeta took his son Sahil and went to the flat of her sister Jyoti living in this society.
- On the night of July 10, he stabbed the head with a cooker and murdered: According to the station in -charge, on the night of 10 July, Harveer was sleeping alone in his flat room. His wife Sangeeta and son Sahil returned and knocked on the door, but Harveer did not open the door. After this, son Sahil reached the balcony of his flat through the balcony of the neighbor’s flat and opened the door and opened the flat from inside. After this, Sahil got into an argument with his father not to open the gate. During the debate, Sahil attacked Harveer’s head with a cooker. Harveer died on the spot due to head injury.

On 11 and 12 July, both of them packed Harveer’s body in the sack. Before packing the corpse in the sack, several layers of polythene were offered on it. Apart from this, he covered it with a sheet and blanket, so that blood does not come out. On July 13, Sahil brought a friend of a friend and kept some goods from the flat in the car. With the same stuff, both of them placed the pack corpse in Harveer’s sack and threw 300 meters ahead of Siddharth Ashram on Surajkund Road in the Aravalli forest under the culvert. After throwing the corpse, the two came back to the flat and came to Harveer’s house in Azarunda on 14 August. Here both of them told the story of Harveer going to Nepal.
Police took mother-son on 4 days remand Police spokesperson Yashpal said that Harveer’s wife Sangeeta and her son Sahil have been produced in court and taken on 4 days remand.
