Due to this, the Indian Medical Association (IMA) in Haryana has said that 600 private hospitals of the state will stop free treatment under Ayushman Bharat Scheme.
After all, why took this decision?
The Medical Association (Indian Medical Association in Haryana) says that the government has not yet paid their Rs 450 crore reimbursement. The statement issued by the association said that his delegation has also met Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini and discussed this problem, but no solution has been found yet.
Will not give treatment from 3 February
Due to this problem, IMA Haryana has announced that these 600 private hospitals connected to the Ayushman Bharat scheme of Haryana from February 3 will stop giving treatment to patients under this scheme. The organization says that the government has outstanding Rs 450 crore for the rebrancement and so far only payment of only 10-15 percent has been received.
1.2 crore Ayushman Registration in Haryana
About 1,300 hospitals in Haryana have been linked to the Central Government -run Ayushman Bharat Yojna and have 600 private hospitals, of which about 60 hospitals are registered in Gurugram. At the same time, talk about the beneficiaries of the state, in Haryana itself, the beneficiaries of Ayushman Bharat Scheme are 1.2 crore, who are registered. Under this scheme, the Haryana government has also made viva cards.
Starts in 2018, free-treatment up to 5 lakhs
It is worth noting that the Modi government (PM Modi Govt) had launched the Ayushman Bharat Scheme in the year 2018 to provide free health services to the people and so far more than 35 crore Ayushman cards have been made under it. Under this scheme, the beneficiaries get free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh. In the month of September last year, the government made a big change in the cabinet meeting and decided to include all the elders above 70 years in this Govt Scheme.
CM’s statement on case
On this whole case, a statement has also come from the Chief Minister of Haryana (Haryana CM) Nayab Singh Saini and in this he has spoken openly about the dispute on the Ayushman Bharat case. He has said that, ‘I have met the doctors of the Indian Medical Association and we have paid their dues of Rs 786 crore on 26 January. Now there is some 200 crores left, which will also be paid as soon as possible.
