The Punjab and Haryana High Court dismissed the petition for the Common Eligibility Test (CET) in Haryana again on Tuesday. The youth filed a petition in the court and got correction in the data of the candidates who have registered and the exam in the same shift
,
Advocate General Pramendra Chauhan appeared in the court on behalf of the government. He said in the High Court that the candidates who have not been able to give their reservation certificate earlier, will be given relief in the exam. Candidates who have applied before the last date of the certificate exam. Registration portal for these candidates will be opened for correction. So that he can correct his certificate.
The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) is preparing to conduct the CET exam in July. More than 13 lakh youth have applied for this.
The petitioner gave these 3 points to increase the registration date ….
1. Certificate could not be made on simple portal Petitioners Sheetal, Nisha and Nancy have said that they belong to other scheduled castes and backward classes. The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) had asked to upload the latest certificate. It was applied on the simple portal for this, but this certificate could not be made on time. Therefore, he had to register in the general category.
The petition has demanded that they can get the benefit of reservation only when their registration improves. Therefore, the portal should be opened again for correction and new registration. This time only 15 days were given for registration. Whereas, in 2022, there was registration for more than a year.
2. OTP used to come late A petitioner Tanu said that when she was registering on the portal, one time password (OTP) used to come late. Due to this, she could not register. Due to the late OTP, the youth who could not register, can register only when the portal is reopening. Therefore, the portal should be reopened for new registration.
3. Normalization should not be implemented Another petitioner also cited normalization. According to this, more than one shifts will have exam and normalization will be done. All shifts cannot have uniform questions. The petitioner demanded that on the instructions of the Supreme Court, the National Board has made a paper in the same shift in the medical science case, similarly the CET paper should also be made in the same shift.
2 important points of Reservation Certificate …
Two categories can benefit The Haryana CET case has reached the High Court. However, two categories of reservation in this case can benefit. The first Backward Class (BC) and the second Economic Vicar Section (EWS). Legal experts have given the reason for this that their reservation certificate time is bound. They have income limits. The most important thing is that these income is made from financial year. In such a situation, the High Court can give a decision in the benefit of both these reservation categories.
SC-DSM chances of low benefits There is very little possibility in this case for the category of other reservation like Scheduled Cat (SC), disadvantaged Scheduled Castes (DSC), Diagnostic and Statistical Manual Manual Disorder (DSM). The reason for this is that their certificate is more valid. In such a situation, the decision of the High Court is not likely to be given in the favor.
