Himmat Singh, chairman of the Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC), came live on social media for the Common Eligibility Test (CET) for the posts of Group-C on 26 and 27 July in Haryana. He interacted with the candidates and also answered his questions.

Chairman Himmat Singh said that earlier the name, father’s name, roll number were already written on the OMR sheet, but this time the candidates have to fill this information themselves. The exam hall will have a set of 24 booklets. Whatever teachers will be there, they will show you whether the set seal is closed or not. If the seal is fine, then any two candidates from the room will sign on it. If the seal is open, do not sign it and tell us, we will take action.
On the exam pattern, the chairman said that 25 percent of the exam will be from Haryana, which will include GK, history etc. of Haryana. 75% will come from other subjects. 75% marks also include computers. All YouTubers and those running the coaching center are requested to analyze the paper only when there are four shift papers, not before that.

Question: Will the name, father’s name, roll number etc. be written in advance on the OMR sheet? answer: No, this time children will have to fill the roll number and other information themselves.
Question: Will the IDs be valid at the examination center besides Aadhaar card and voter card? answer: Yes, every identity card issued by the Haryana government will be valid.
Question: When will you get a chance to change the category? answer: Candidates will be given a chance after the results are released to change the category.
Question: Will buses be free even a day before the exam? answer: This has been talked to the Transport Department about this and it is being considered. Soon they will give instructions about this on their behalf, keep watching their directions.
Question: Will the question paper be allowed or deposited? answer: This is in our attention and it is being considered. Soon we will take a decision and give instructions.
Question: Will the old CET be canceled after the new CET? answer: It is valid for 3 years from the date of declaration of old CET results.
Question: Will the children who have got jobs, will their CET score be valid? answer: According to the CET policy, the score will be valid for 3 years.
Question: What is qualifying mark? answer: The qualifying mark for general category baby is 50 and 40 for reserved category.
Question: Will the candidates repeat? answer: Earlier, four times the candidates were called, but this time 10 times the candidates will be called.
