Haryana IPS officer Smiti Chaudhary suddenly died on Friday at the age of 48. She was ill for some time, due to which she was walking on leave. After which she went to Nashik, Maharashtra to meet her husband. Her husband Rajesh Kumar is also an IPS officer

At the same time, he was admitted to the hospital when his health deteriorated. Where he breathed his last. After which he was cremated there. Smiti was originally from Dumarkhan Kalan village in Jind. He was born on 15 August 1976. He was then married in Kaithal. Smtiti’s family is currently living in Panchkula.
Smiti came to HPS officer Haryana Police but later became promoted as IPS. After which she became the IPS officer of the 2012 batch Haryana cadre. She was currently posted as an Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) SP in Ambala. Smiti’s mother Jaywanti Shyokand has also been an IAS officer. Apart from this, most of the relatives in his maiden’s family were big officers.

The elder son Ramkumar is a professor from Shyokand College, while his wife Jayavanti Shyokand has been an IAS officer. Ramkumar’s son Yashendra is an IAS officer. Daughter Smiti Chaudhary became an IPS officer.
Basant’s son retired colonel Basant Singh’s second son Late. Sajjan Kumar was a GM in Confed and his wife Krishna has been a deputy DEO. The third son Virendra was SE and his wife has been a deputy manager in the Indian Airlines. The fourth son Gajendra Singh has retired in the Army and is currently private pilot. Basant Singh’s elder daughter is Bimala Graduate and husband Indra Singh is Advocate. His son Anil Dhul Bhakra is in Beas Management Board.
Daughter also retired principal The second daughter Krishna is the principal retired and her husband Raghubir Panghal has been the head of the Department of HAU after retiring from Major in the Army. Krishna’s daughter Daya Panghal is an ETO and son Vikram is a doctor. The third daughter Kaushalya is a post graduate and her husband Randhir Singh is SE Public Health. His daughter Ritu Chaudhary is an IRS officer and husband Anurag Sharma is also an IRS officer.
